This week, I was able to learn about the nine tips to developing my professional handshake during class. Mastering the art of a professional handshake is crucial to establishing a positive first impression. From maintaining eye contact to ensuring a firm grip, these tips taught me the importance of projecting confidence and professionalism through this simple gesture. Additionally, I learned how to adapt my handshake style based on different people, further enhancing my interpersonal skills. I also learned about different strategies when it comes to cold calling. Cold calling is an essential skill for people. I learned the importance of researching and preparing before making a call, as well as how to effectively communicate over the phone.

There are still some things that I need to learn to improve my cold-calling skills. For example, I would like to learn more about effective opening statements and techniques to grab the attention of potential clients. Additionally, I need to learn how to handle rejections professionally in order to maintain a positive attitude during a call.

Something that I was successful at this week was that I was able to work on my handshake and improve my overall body language during conversations. However, I still need to work on my tone of voice and speak confidently to make a good impression.

This past week was extremely helpful because it allowed me to learn various strategies for capturing the interest of people.
